The Milwaukee Brewers got a superb performance from pitcher Leonardo Miranda, but the Los Angeles Dodgers still won the game, 8-6. Miranda threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Tyler Kolek picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Curt Wilkerson suffered the loss. Los Angeles now sports a record of 53-40.

Los Angeles needed the clutch hitting of Dan Fletcher to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dodgers on top, 8-6. For the game, Fletcher had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We take it day by day here," said Fletcher, "and today was a good one for us."
