The Pittsburgh Pirates picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Minnesota Twins, 7-5. Starting pitcher James Paxton was a big reason why. Joe Kaiser got credit for the save for Pittsburgh. It was his 18th of the year. Pittsburgh has now won 3 in a row.

Pittsburgh used the hitting of Brad McBride to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Pirates on top, 3-2. For the game, McBride had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Paxton.
