Angels Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
A good performance from right fielder Starling Heredia helped the Los Angeles Angels defeat the Oakland Athletics, 4-3. Heredia was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Angels. Los Angeles reliever Darren Watkins was the winner. His record is now 4-0. Pedro Baez took the loss. Max Rey finished to wrap up his 4th save.

Heredia had a timely hit for Los Angeles in the top of the ninth. With Los Angeles trailing 3-2, he turned a 3-1 slider into a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Los Angeles.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Heredia told the Los Angeles News.
