Chicago Beaten, 4-2, by Baltimore
|
The Baltimore Orioles picked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Chicago Cubs, 4-2. Starting pitcher Carlos Rodon was a big reason why. Jung-ho Chang was credited with the save, his 5th in 11 tries. The triumph puts Baltimore at 57-52 for the season.
Don Dotson came through with a big-time hit for Baltimore. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Chicago manager Warren Schaeffer.
