The Texas Rangers downed the New York Yankees, 6-0, at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Stellar pitching by Lazaro Leyva had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who finished 4th in the AL in strikeouts with 213 in 2022, handcuffed his opponent all game. The winner was Leyva. He threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Pete Lambert.
