The Cincinnati Reds got a magnificent effort from pitcher Chris Sale, who kept Houston hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Reds win at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati has run its win streak to 4 straight.

The Astros had trouble solving Sale, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.

"Chris gave us a heck of an effort," said Cincinnati manager Kevin Cash.
