Twins Suffer 3-0 Road Loss
|
The Kansas City Royals went home winners at Kauffman Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Ken Walker. Walker stifled the Minnesota Twins, enabling Kansas City to grab the 3-0 win. The winner was Walker. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Anthony DeSclafani. Shigochiyo Ohayashi got the save, his 1st in 2 chances.
Hervé Masson, who is a two-time All-Star, chipped in a 2-run home run for Kansas City in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
