Pirates Win with Late Heroics
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Pittsburgh Pirates wiggled past the Cincinnati Reds, 6-5, in 11 innings at PNC Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Pittsburgh first baseman Chris Riley. Pittsburgh has won 3 straight, while Cincinnati has lost 3 in a row.

In the bottom of the 11th, Brandon Martin knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Cincinnati pitcher Anthony DeSclafani.

In postgame remarks, Riley simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
