The Minnesota Twins topped the New York Yankees, 5-4, in American League action at Yankee Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minnesota pitcher Huascar Ynoa. Pat Calhoun recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 16 for 23.

Stan Jordan came through with a big-time hit for Minnesota. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Ynoa. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
