Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Washington Nationals and Chicago Cubs.

Eric Stewart had a good game, but he could not keep the Chicago Cubs from falling, 5-3, to the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park. The Chicago left fielder was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 in the loss. The winning pitcher was Mike Cunningham.
