Cubs Win Streak Reaches 7

The Chicago Cubs extended their winning streak.
The Chicago Cubs downed the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-1, at Wrigley Field. The Cubs were led by Stephen Piscotty. Piscotty was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Jose Paulino got the win, improving to 13-8. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 0.
Chicago first baseman Ben Collins contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 77th hit of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 3-1.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Piscotty.
The winning continues for Chicago, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.
