The Miami Marlins topped the Washington Nationals, 9-4, the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Edgardo Franco. On the day, Franco went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. "Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Alcantara.
