Murray, Rays Get Tidy 3-0 Win Over Cleveland
Tampa Bay turned a fine outing from starter Kevin Murray into a victory over the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. The final score was 3-0. Joe Montgomery earned the save for Tampa Bay, his 30th. By defeating Cleveland, the 4th-place Rays improved to 65-67.

Murray's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 3 hits. Murray, who leads the AL with a 8.7 K/9 rate, goes to 9-6 on the year with 131 strikeouts.
