With third baseman Juan Mendoza leading the charge, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 10-4, at Dodger Stadium. Mendoza, who finished 4th in the NL in RBI with 108 last year, was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Dodgers now have a win-loss record of 74-60.
