Reds fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Cincinnati Reds defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-5, in National League action at Great American Ball Park. Tito Polo pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winner in relief was Julius Taylor. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 9-6.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cincinnati trailing 5-4, Polo jumped on a changeup from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Von Barr and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Reds had a walk-off win.

"We're trying to go out there and win games," Polo told the Cincinnati Observer, "and we played pretty well tonight."

St. Louis has now lost 4 consecutive games.
