Toronto Earn 9-3 Victory at Great American Ball Park
The rain did not keep Toronto and Cincinnati from finishing their game.

Toronto beat Cincinnati on the strength of starting pitcher Chris Sale's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 9-3. With the victory, the Blue Jays upped their record to 76-63.

Rob Holt had a big 2-run double for the Blue Jays in the top of the first inning. With Toronto leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Bert Gooderston and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 28th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Toronto skipper José Soto.
