A 3-RBI performance from Juan García helped the New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins, 7-5. New York is 61-91 and Minnesota, with the loss, 61-92.

With New York leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, García hit a curveball from Duane Hutchins for a 3-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Yankees ahead, 6-2.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said García.
