Reds Earn Late Win
The Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago Cubs by a score of 7-6. Cincinnati first baseman Diory Paulino deserved the lion's share of the credit. Paulino went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Reds. The Reds improved their record to 73-81 with the win over Chicago.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Cubs allowed the Reds to score the winning run.

"What a buzz," said Paulino after it was over.
