The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 8-4. Doing his part was third baseman Josh Marshania, who was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Arizona pitcher Dan Crawford earned the win, hiking his record to 12-4. Florentin Eliade suffered the loss. The victory gives Arizona a record of 92-67.

With Arizona trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Marshania hit a 2-run single off Los Angeles hurler Florentin Eliade. It was the 121st hit of the season for Marshania and put his team ahead, 3-2.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Marshania.
