Los Angeles Beaten, 4-2, by Houston
|
Houston Astros starter Lachlan Madden turned in an exceptional performance against the Los Angeles Angels at Minute Maid Park, resulting in a Houston win, 4-2. Houston reliever Bob Ramsey was the winner. His record is now 3-6. Héctor Rosado took the loss. Houston has now won 3 straight, while the Angels have lost 5 in a row.
Houston got a knockout punch from Starlin Castro. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"Exhilarating win," said Castro.
