San Diego Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The San Diego Padres beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-5, at Petco Park. San Diego first baseman Jorge Zaragoza had an outstanding performance. He went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The defeat makes Arizona 83-79.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Zaragoza hit a slider from Norm Sims for a 2-run home run. The Padres, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Zaragoza told the San Diego Gazette.
