Big Day for Martínez as Rockies Down Rays, 13-4
The Colorado Rockies topped the Tampa Bay Rays, 13-4, in National League action at Tropicana Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Colorado right fielder Sergio Martínez. The win gives Colorado a record of 2-0.

With Colorado leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Martínez hit a run-scoring single off Tampa Bay hurler Orlando Estrada. It was the 6th hit of the season for Martínez and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Martínez said.
