Starting pitcher Tom Coady fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Milwaukee Brewers stymie the Chicago White Sox, 1-0. The winner was Curt Wilkerson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Trevor Rosenthal took the loss. Milwaukee, with the win, is 2-0.

The decisive blow was delivered by Billy Wood in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off four-time All-Star Trevor Rosenthal to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went nuts.
