Colorado Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
The Miami Marlins picked up a win at LoanDepot Park, knocking off the Colorado Rockies, 4-0. On the mound for Miami was right-hander Bob Irvin. He played a key role in the triumph. António Fontanez closed it out for his 1st save. The win puts Miami at 2-1.

Miami first baseman Sam Jones helped the Marlins go up, 2-0, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Jones hit a 2-run single off Colorado pitcher Christopher Acosta.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Jones after the game.
