The Atlanta Hammers picked up a win at SunTrust Park, topping the Houston Astros, 4-3. On the mound for Atlanta was right-hander Oscar Willis. He played a principal role in the triumph. Dan Hicks closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. The win puts Atlanta at 3-2.

Desi Godfrey drove in one run for Atlanta. The 28-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Steve Jackson. It was his 3rd RBI of the season.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Willis.
