The Atlanta Hammers knocked off the Houston Astros, 4-3, in National League action at SunTrust Park. Atlanta pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Rocky Edwards had an outstanding performance. Atlanta, with the win, is 4-2.

Wilmer Flores had a big solo home run for the Hammers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Atlanta leading 3-2 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Ricardo Rodriguez and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Hammers on top, 4-2.

"Rocky showed what he's made of," said Atlanta manager Vince Harrison.
