Guardians Lose to Dodgers, 4-3
|
Los Angeles Dodgers starter Josuke Mizuno pitched a strong game against the Cleveland Guardians at Dodger Stadium, leading the Dodgers to victory, 4-3. The win gives Los Angeles a record of 4-2.
Juan Mendoza, who finished 4th in the NL in RBI with 108 in 2024, helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 2 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Los Angeles manager Torey Lovullo.
