Turner Leads Minnesota Past Houston
The Minnesota Twins picked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Houston Astros, 2-0. Starting pitcher Jared Turner played a key role in the triumph. Houston is now 2-5.

Turner, who dominated for Minnesota, earned the victory to move to 1-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 7. Houston batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Jared did a good job keeping the game under control," said Minnesota manager Robin Ventura.
