The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Minnesota Twins, 6-2, at Target Field. Tampa Bay center fielder Daniel Santos had the hot bat. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The loss drops Minnesota to 3-4.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Bobby Davenport? The Tampa Bay right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rays on top, 2-1. For the game, Davenport had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
