Spike Henry was terrific for the Los Angeles Dodgers in his team's 10-1 triumph over the Washington Nationals. His performance earned Henry rave reviews. The winning pitcher was Henry, now 1-1. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 3. Los Angeles is off to a hot start at 6-3.

Los Angeles used a clutch at-bat from Don Jones to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"When the other team makes a mistake," said Henry, "you've got to make them pay."
