Ikeda Slugs Blue Jays to 4-3 Win
The Toronto Blue Jays downed the Boston Red Sox, 4-3, at Fenway Park. The Blue Jays were led by Rintaro Ikeda. Ikeda slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Trevor Rosenthal, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The Red Sox fall to 5-7 and continue their lackluster start to the 2025 season.

Early in the game, Ikeda had a 2-run home run for Toronto. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays on top, 2-0.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Ikeda.
