The Colorado Rockies beat the Los Angeles Angels by a score of 5-4. Colorado right fielder Sergio Martínez deserved the lion's share of the credit. Martínez went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Rockies. Christopher Acosta came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The win lifts Colorado to a record of 5-6.

The game came to a sudden end. In the bottom of the ninth, with two out, Martínez reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run. It gave Colorado the 5-4 walk-off win.

"Getting the win feels nice," said Martínez. "More importantly, I had a good game."
