Reds Lose to Marlins, 4-2
Miami registered a win at LoanDepot Park by beating the Cincinnati Reds, 4-2. Pitcher Steven Matz was one reason why the Marlins triumphed. The winner was Matz. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Marcus Stroman. Dominic Leone earned the save, his 5th, for the Marlins.

The Marlins got a big at-bat from left fielder Alan O'Keefe. For the game, O'Keefe went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Miami a 2-0 lead.

After the game, Miami manager John Patterson applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The Marlins have hit the ground running, raising their record to 8-4. While it's still too soon to talk about Miami hoisting their 3rd World Series trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.
