Diamondbacks Topple Mets with Late Rally
The Arizona Diamondbacks faced a tough opponent in New York pitcher P.J. Burton, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Citi Field by a final score of 6-2. Burton went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Arizona, now 8-5, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Sergio Portillo helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Arizona a 2-0 lead.

Said losing manager Mike Matheny: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
