Win Makes Milwaukee 11-3
|
The Milwaukee Brewers finished off the Washington Nationals, 5-2. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Steve Sanders. Sanders went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Brewers. Now 11-3, the 2026 Brewers have been phenomenal so far.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Sanders hit a 2-run home run off Ty Buttrey. It propelled the Brewers into the lead, 2-0.
"Winning is always a team effort," Sanders said after the game.
