Arizona parlayed a decent outing from starter Jorge Corral into a solid win over the Toronto Blue Jays. The final score was 6-3. The Blue Jays, now 7-12, continue their poor start.

The Diamondbacks got a big at-bat from third baseman Brett Lawrie. For the game, Lawrie went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Arizona a 5-3 lead.
