Blue Jays Get Clutch Win Versus Arizona
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Toronto Blue Jays provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Toronto Blue Jays handed the Arizona Diamondbacks a 6-5 defeat at Chase Field. Left Fielder Alfredo Salinas starred for Toronto. He went 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Toronto is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 20 games.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Nick Gordon came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Arizona pitcher Jorge Gonzáles, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toronto on top, 6-5.

Salinas called the extra-inning win a "confidence builder."
