Angels center fielder Luis Roa left his mark on his team's 7-3 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Roa, who is tied for 4th in the AL in stolen bases with 8, went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for Los Angeles in the contest. Cleveland falls to 13-13.

Starling Heredia had a big solo home run for the Angels in the top of the third inning. With Los Angeles leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from Jose C. Medina, who led the AL in innings pitched with 224.1 last year, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Angels on top, 2-0.
