McDaniel Slugs Padres to 11-5 Win
Tim McDaniel knocked in 4 runs to help San Diego beat Colorado, 11-5. McDaniel produced 1 single and 2 home runs. San Diego reliever Miguel Del Pozo got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Christopher Acosta was tagged with the loss. The Rockies fall to 10-15 and continue their uneven start to the 2026 season.

San Diego used the timely hitting of Jonathan Arauz to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Padres on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had some nice at-bats at the right time," said Padres manager Darin Everson.
