The Cincinnati Reds defeated the Colorado Rockies, 10-2, at Coors Field. Cincinnati right fielder José Parra had a superb performance. He went 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Colorado now has a record of 13-12.

Early in the game, Parra had a 3-run home run for Cincinnati. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Reds on top, 3-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Parra told the Cincinnati Observer.
