State College Spikes Clinch First in Pinckney Division Monday, August 18th , 2025 Víctor Márquez said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his State College Spikes teammates were so excited to celebrate their Pinckney Division championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 47-27 record on the season. It is the club's 2nd Pinckney Division championship and puts them in position for their 1st New York-Penn League championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Jimmy Alvarez said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
