Barajas Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Sunday, August 10th , 2025 Win or lose, José Barajas just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 4 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Everett AquaSox left fielder went 4-for-6, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 12-11, by the Boise Hawks at Everett Memorial Stadium. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." José Barajas doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Batting .442 to date, Barajas has 1 home run and 13 RBIs. |
