Yankees Lester Tames Danville Wednesday, August 6th , 2025 It was not a good day at the plate for the Danville Firebirds. They came up empty when it mattered against Pulaski Yankees right-hander Stan Lester, who scattered 8 hits across 9 innings and held the Firebirds scoreless. "We had 8 hits so I know he wasn't completely untouchable, but he was close," Danville manager Jeff Walters said later. Lester chalked up 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the 12-0 Yankees win.
