APP's Best Batter Selected Monday, September 1st , 2025 R.J. Lester is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Elizabethton first baseman joined that select company when the Appalachian League announced the results of August's voting. Lester totaled 38 hits, 18 walks, 10 home runs, 29 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .365 batting average and .452 on-base percentage. Lester currently has a .402 batting average with 96 hits, 17 homers, 59 RBIs, 53 runs scored and a .495 OBP. |
