Randolph Garners APP #1 Pitcher Award Monday, September 1st , 2025 Steve Randolph was ecstatic to win August's Appalachian League Pitcher of the Month honors today. The 24-year-old Kingsport pitcher thanked fans, his coaches and the voters for the honor -- despite the fact that he deserved much of the credit himself. Randolph's star burned bright last month as he made no relief appearances, notching no saves and 80 strikeouts in 42 innings. He held opposing hitters to a .122 average to put up his 6-0 mark and 1.93 ERA. This season, Randolph has been credited with 1 save in 6 relief appearances. In 62.2 innings he has a 6-1 won-lost mark, 3.02 ERA and 107 strikeouts |
