Carter Selected Top Player Monday, July 28th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Wes Carter's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Billings Mustangs. For his exploits, Carter was named this week's Pioneer League Player of the Week award. The Billings shortstop put up 14 hits in 26 at-bats and no home runs while hitting .538 with 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Carter has hit 8 home runs and posted a .411 batting average. |
