Carter Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Friday, August 1st , 2025 The Billings Mustangs stopped the Missoula Osprey, 3-1, and Wes Carter collected a base hit yet again. The Billings shortstop finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Carter told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Wes Carter singled in the 1st, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and walked in the 8th. At the moment, Carter is batting .406 with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 37 games and scored 34 times. |
