Carter Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Great Falls Saturday, August 9th , 2025 The Great Falls Voyagers pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Wes Carter hitless in 3 at-bats during the club's 9-3 victory over the Billings Mustangs at Centene Stadium. The disappointing performance ended a 24-game hitting streak for the shortstop. "I'm a little down right now," Carter said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Carter on the season is hitting .410 with 11 home runs. His stats include 45 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
