Jacobs Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games

The number just keeps getting higher.
Great Falls shortstop Charlie Jacobs has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 5 at-bats as the Great Falls won the game, 10-3, over the Orem Owlz at Centene Stadium.
"Who knows how long it will go on?" Orem manager Brian Duensing said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Charlie Jacobs grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 7th.
This season, Jacobs is batting at a .422 clip with 2 home runs and 17 RBIs.
