Saturday, October 18th , 2025
He may have less experience than most of his Pioneer League peers, but that didn't slow Bob Morris down at all in 2025.
At the age of 22, the Ogden center fielder has been named the winner of the Pioneer League Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .371 batting average and a .503 on-base percentage this year. In 67 games he piled up 92 hits, 27 doubles, 5 triples, 14 home runs, 46 RBIs and 72 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Wes Carter of the Billings Mustangs finished second in voting, while Jon Rhodes of the Billings Mustangs finished third.
